Authors Guideline for Manuscript Submission:

‘Educational Trends (A Journal of RIE Ajmer)’ will be published Half-Yearly with a view to provide an
academic forum to teachers, teacher-educators, educational administrators and researchers through the
presentation of their ideas, views, experiences and critical appraisal of educational problems on innovative
educational practices, current issues, trends and quality researches in the field of education.

The teachers, teacher educators, researchers and other academicians working in the field of different disciplines
of education including Science, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences are cordially invited to contribute
their innovative experiments/experiences and research papers / articles in the Journal. They can submit their
research papers and articles online via http://www.rieajmer.raj.nic.in or they may send their contributions in
the form of research papers and articles either in Hindi language or in English language on e-mail:
etrie.ajmer@ncert.nic.in

The journal aims to provide the most complete and reliable source of information on current developments in
the Educational Research and Education field. The emphasis will be on publishing quality research papers /
articles rapidly and making them freely available to researchers worldwide. All published manuscript will be
immediately upon publication in at least one widely and internationally recognized open access repository,
therefore providing the maximum exposure to the manuscript. The journal will be useful for readers who wish to
keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of Education.

New Submissions:
Submission to the journal ‘Educational Trends (A Journal of RIE Ajmer)’ proceeds totally online. You have
to upload your manuscript through online system via http://www.rieajmer.raj.nic.in or they may send their
contributions in the form of research papers and articles either in Hindi language or in English language on e-
mail: etrie.ajmer@ncert.nic.in which is used in the peer-review process before publication. The articles
received for publication are reviewed by one or more referees for their relevance, clarity, length and style.
Kindly do not sumit the same manuscript for concurrent consideration by any other publication. This should be
a Word document (MS Word), in any format or layout that can be used by referees to evaluate your manuscript.
It should contain high enough quality figures (300 dpi) for refereeing. Please note that individual figure files
larger than 10 MB must be uploaded separately.

Authors can submit their research papers either in Hindi or English. Each research paper should be about 1500
to 3000 words. Each article should have a short abstract in about 150 words.

English: Manuscript sent in English should within the ‘Times New Roman’ with font size 12, typed in double
space, on one side of A-4 paper with sufficient margins.

References:

References should be in standard format.

Where applicable, Name of the Author(s), Year of Publication, Title of the Publication, Name of the journal,
Volume (number) and page number(s) must be present for example:

 Prakash V. (1984) Evaluating Teacher Aptitudes, The Educational Trends. 9 (1 & 2): 1-6.

Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Any
references cited in the abstract must be given in full.

Web references:

The full URL should be given along with the date when the reference was last accessed. Any further
information, if known (author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Web
references can be listed separately (e.g., after the reference list) under a different heading if desired, or can be
included in the reference list.

Formatting requirements:

The manuscript must contain the essential elements, for example: Title, Author(s), Abstract, Keywords,
Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions, Artwork and Tables with Captions. If your article
includes any Videos and/or other Supplementary material, this should be included in your initial submission for
peer review purposes. Divide the article into clearly defined sections.

Figures and tables embedded in text:

Please ensure the figures and the tables included in the single file are placed next to the relevant text in the
manuscript, rather than at the bottom or the top of the file. The corresponding caption should be placed directly
below the figure or table.

Title page (with author details): This should include the title, authors' names, affiliations, acknowledgements
and any Declaration of Interest statement, and a complete address for the corresponding author including an e-
mail address.

Blinded manuscript (no author details): The main body of the paper (including the references, figures, tables
and any acknowledgements) should not include any identifying information, such as the authors' names or
affiliations.

Final Submission checklist before manuscript submission:

Authors can carefully check their submission before sending it to the journal for publication. Kindly ensure that
the following items are present:
