This study is focused on phyto-planktonic diversityof Sharda river water from July 2013 to June 2014. The qualitative
evaluation of plankton with seasonal variation and water quality of ShardaRiverwere analyzed. Three groups of phyto-plankton viz.
Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae and Cyanophyceae were identified during the study period, Bacillariophyceae were most dominant
among the all groups at all the study sites.
