Drum stand are used for lifting and holding conductor drums during tension stringing

Uses:

The drum lifting jacks (drum stand) are used for lifting and holding
conductor drums during tension stringing. Lifting of drums can be achieved
either manually through gear mechanism or through handy hydraulic
pumps. Shaft is made of steel continuous solid mild steel material or steel
pipe with manual brake arrangement.

 4. HYDRAULIC COMPRESSOR

Hydraulic Compressor are usually used to connect two different lengths of conductor

Uses:

Hydraulic Compressor (Motorized Joint Machine) are usually used to

connect two different lengths of conductor together by compressing the mid-
span joint into which the ends of the two lengths have been inserted; Or
used to connect the conductor to the tension tower by compressing the
dead end clamp with the fitted-in conductor. A complete set of hydraulic
compressor consists of one press head and one power unit ( either gasoline
engine or diesel engine or electric one) which are jointed together with two
lengths of oil hoses and fast/screw type coupling connectors.

Single nylon used for the stringing of overhead single conductor and OPGW

Uses:

Mounted on ball bearings, the single nylon (nylatron) sheave aerial roller is
used for the stringing of overhead single conductor and OPGW. And small
size one with wear proof nylatron sheave (wheel) is most suitable for
stringing of GSW/ACS earth wire as well. There are different connection

Uses:

Made from steel of high tensile strength, swivel joints are used to connect
the conductor via. mesh socks (or connect steel rope) and release torsion
strain accumulation during stringing operation. c/w roller covering the pin
bolt, sharp bending of steel rope eye on the pin bolt can be improved so as
to prolong the working life of eye of steel rope. With two kinds of bearings
installed inside, it can not only stand the axial load but also can swivel
smoothly when the radial load exists (the swivel joint is passing the groove
of sheave of aerial roller, and tension on the two ends of the swivel joint
are not in the same straight line but with angle).
