PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The aim of the program is to help those who wish to embark on a Career in Accounting or Finance
acquire the relevant professional qualifications as well as the essential knowledge, values and
employability skills required for success in these fields.
Through this triple-award, two-year full-time programme, CTI wishes to offer a fully comprehensive
training package to meet the needs of entry-level students and their future employers. The
programme’s content, structure and delivery approach have been bench-marked on best global
practices, using the latest resources and technology to ensure that it meets the needs of modern
business and prepares trainees for work in any sector of the local or global economy. Students are
required to enroll on the full programme. Successful candidates will be in good position to undertake
further, more advanced studies, embrace challenging careers and compete with the best on an
international level.
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest and fastest-growing
international accountancy body with 362,000 students and 131,500 members in 170 countries. Its aim
is to offer the first choice qualifications to people of application, ability and ambition around the world
who seek a rewarding career in accountancy, finance and management.
ACCA is an official British Qualifying Body recognised under the Companies Act 1989 (UK). It thus
complies with the requirement of having to set examinations which are at least equivalent in standard to
those required to obtain a degree from a University in the UK.
After completion of the ACCA Fundamental papers (F1 to F9) trainees should be able to find full-time
employment while continuing their studies on a part-time basis at CTI. Candidates will be able to
continue the Professional ACCA papers or transfer (with exemptions) to the ACA qualification from the
prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). See relevant fact-sheets
for further information.
