1. Rules and regulations of the cricket tournament
7 players per a team Any number of teams can be formed within a Level of a faculty Teams cannot be formed within two levels of a faculty or different faculties. Teams cannot be formed within two faculties of same level Matches will be organized as follow o Group Stage –> Semi Finals -> Final In Group Stage, each winning team will get 3 points. In group stage, 1 point will be given to each team in case of tie. Semifinalists will be selected based on their points. (Run rate will be considered in case of equal points) Semifinals will be knockout matches and super over will be applicable in case of tie 4 Overs match (6 balls per over) – This rule might be changed considering the weather condition. Player who scores 30 or 30+ must retire but can return for the final wicket. Other rules are similar to the International cricket rules. Few of the above mentioned rules might be changed only for the finals. Every player must abide to the final decision taken by the Umpires and cricket committee in case of chaos. Majlis members who cannot form a team (due to insufficient players in their batch or remained after teams have formed in their batch), include your details in the Google form or contact (Siraj0777569540) and the committee will assign you a team.
2. Rules and regulations of Volleyball tournament
6 Players per team. Any number of teams can be formed within a Level of a faculty Teams cannot be formed within two levels of a faculty or different faculties. Teams cannot be formed within two faculties of same level Matches will be organized as follow o Group Stage –> Semi Finals -> Final In Group Stage, each winning team will get 3 points. Semifinalists will be selected based on their points. (Winning margins will be considered in case of equal points) Semifinals will be knockout matches Rotation System and all other basic rules of volley ball will be applied in matches. (Instructions will be provided if there is a necessity) Each match includes 3 sets and 10 will be winning score for each set in the group stage matches and 15 will be the winning score in knockout matches. Every player must abide to the final decision taken by the Referee and volleyball committee in case of chaos. Majlis members who cannot form a team (due to insufficient players in their batch or remained after teams have formed in their batch), include your details in the Google form or contact (Siraj 0777569540) and the committee will assign you a team.
