Canine Multi-Mix Patties—

The Ingredients! INGREDIENT NUMBER ONE—8 Lb [or 3.64 Kg] of finely ground raw meaty bones…
• Chicken carcasses, necks and wings [equal amounts]… or…

• Lamb or beef ribs [with meat]… or…

• Dr. Billinghurst’s meat and bone mince…or…

• Whatever raw meaty bones are available You may use beef, pork, chicken, lamb, turkey, kangaroo,
emu, venison, duck, etc. The RMB’s can be a combination of two or more of the above. Once again, the
sky [and what you have available] is the limit!

The bone content must remain at approximately one half. The meat and bones may be quite separate.
E.G. beef meat and lamb bones. Use any combination you like depending on needs, price and availability
of healthy raw materials. For a dog with no allergies to particular meats [and no dislike of particular
meats], the wider the range of meats [and bones] the better.

Try and keep fat to a minimum, particularly with older more sedentary dogs or dogs that may be prone
to pancreatitis. With young and active dogs, you may need the meat to be a little more fatty in order to
maintain body weight.

INGREDIENT NUMBER TWO—2 Lb [or 910 gm] of mixed crushed vegetables… E.G., Spinach, silver beet,
celery, parsley, tomato, beetroot, carrot, red, green or yellow peppers [capsicums], one or two
crucifers such as cabbage, bok choy, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.

Do ensure a good mix of green leafy vegetables along with the widest range possible of different colored
types. Ensure there is not a preponderance of the cabbage [crucifer] family. These will depress the
thyroid if fed constantly in large amounts. No onions! They can cause a hemolytic anemia. Avoid
potatoes. No legumes [peas and beans] unless sprouted. Make sure there is only a low level of the
starchy vegetables [e.g. Pumpkin] and not a preponderance of the sugary vegetables such as carrots.
INGREDIENT NUMBER THREE—1Lb 5 oz [or 596 gm] of a mixture of liver, kidney and heart… It is very
important you source clean and parasite free sources of offal. Liver should equal kidney and heart
combined. Also, feed the widest range possible, including green tripe if it is available. This offal meat
should be crushed, ground or finely chopped.

INGREDIENT NUMBER FOUR—11 Oz [or 312 gm] of ripe fruit… Whole apples, whole oranges, apricots
without the stone, papaya, mangoes, kiwi fruit etc. Use whatever is in season and as wide a range as
possible. The fruit may be over-ripe but not rotten. This will also be added to the patties in a crushed or
ground state.

INGREDIENT NUMBER FIVE—Various additives

6 oz [170 gm] natural yogurt, or equivalent of non-dairy probiotics
