Position Available: Manager, Qualit y I mprovement and Risk Management

Responsi bilities:
 Responsible f or the overall operat ion of Qualit y Improvement and Risk
Management (QIRM) program of the hospital and accountable t o ensure that
appropr iate qualit y systems ar e implemented.
 Coordinate, organize and implement quality improvement and patient saf ety
plans and programs to enhance the quality and saf ety of patient care
 Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and the development of
hospital policies and procedur es accordingly.
 Monitor the accr editation status of departments / services / programs
throughout the hospit al.
 Provide guidance and training to staff and departments on all matters related
to qualit y, accreditat ion, patient saf ety and risk management.
 W ork closely with all departments to monitor and ensur e the standards of
patient care is deliver ed and work o n improving pat ient care through
assessment and evaluation of the f unctions, pr ocesses and outcomes
aff ecting care.
 Review and evaluat ion of all ser vices including review of inf ection control,
patient saf ety, envir onmental health and saf ety, evaluation of medical care
and risk management.
 Prepare per iodic reports to the CEO and Senior Managem ent on qualit y
management areas highlighting
 Review and implem ent plans f or patient saf ety and risk management and
monitor pat ient -related occurrences, analyze, tren d, benchmark, and
prepare periodic report of f indings to the CEO and Executive management.

General Requirements:

 Degree in health related f ield such as Medicine, Nursing, Dent istr y, or

Hospital Management.
 Certif icat ion in Healt hcare Qualit y Management
 5 years’ experience in hospital qualit y, patient saf ety and risk
management
 Sound Managerial skills and prior experience working in a managerial role
 Abilit y to complete work on schedule and to work under pressure
 Excellent communication skills i n English both wr itten and spoken
