My Imaginary State
Population: 10 million
Sovereignty: Sovereignty over the Eastern Island. Located in the north of the western part of Malaysia and East
of the southern part of Thailand in the Gulf of Thailand.

No, because this island is flush with people from many races such as Thai, Malay, Singaporeans and Chinese.
The majority of the citizens inherited from a Thai Descendants.

Type of government: Semi-Presidential Constitutional Republic with a Democratic Rule.

People obtain basic rights and are free to express their opinion. The country prospers with a democratic rule
with a democratic check and balance between the government and the head of state. People are active in politics
because this is a free country. They participate in free elections and political party encourage people to engage
in their activities. As people are more engage in politics, engaging in a protest is usual in the country especially
in the group of young college students which may causes injuries and casualties.

Type of State: Unitary
Effects (or potential effects) of the type of State chosen (at least 1 paragraph - 5 sentences):
As a small country the power is centralized at the capital. People in the country adopt the same sets of law. The
society is more harmony and the people are more culturally bonded. As a small country the unitary system is
the best way to organize itself. The disadvantages of this system are that people in each area cannot make
decisions on their own. Local people have to follow the national government.

Effects (at least 1 paragraph - 5 sentences): The power is mildly separated from legislative and executive
since the prime minister which is the head of government commands the majority in the parliament which is the
legislative branch, while the judicial branch is more separated from the other branches. The president has many
powers that can override the prime minister and the president can call for a referendum to endorse any law the
President propose. The President is the head of state and commander in chief. The President also have the
