PART 1: After checking the Unit 1 Topic 2: Modal Verbs, write 1
sentences using each one of the following modal verbs regarding
your daily life: can – could – may - must - should - ought to –
have to – need to- had better - would.
Example:
I must go to the doctor because I have a toothache.

Part 3: Write a text about the activities you were doing last Sunday; you can use time. Use
at least two pictures related to your day. You should write three paragraphs:
Example: I was having breakfast at home at 7:00 a.m.
Paragraph 1: Last weekend I got up at 5:00 am, I bathed and I prepared to travel to my parents'
house in the city of Sogamoso, went to the terminal of the saltpeter to catch the bus, arrived
at the town at 10:00 am , have breakfast with my family, we went out to see the animals that
are on the farm and see the crops, we had a great time.

Paragraph 2: In the afternoon we made a picnic lunch, we invited several neighbors of the
path, we could make the most of the afternoon. On Saturday morning we got up early to see
the cattle, we returned to the house to have breakfast, we went out to play with my cousins
to the river.

Paragraph 3 At night we went to the disco to dance and enjoy with my friends. We arrived
home at dawn, I slept for a while I woke up early readied my stuff, I traveled to the city of
Bogota, I arrived at 10.00 am. to start my work.
