め (arakajime)

Meaning: beforehand; in advance; previously

Formation:

あらかじめ + Verb-casual, past

Example sentences:

僕は逃げ道をあらかじめ作りました。
boku wa nigemichi o arakajime tsukurimashita.
I ve already made an escape route.

わたしは邸宅の外側をまわって、あらかじめあけておいた食堂の窓から邸内
に入った。
watashi wa teitaku no sotogawa o mawatte, arakajime akete oita
shokudou no mado kara teinai ni haitta.
I had gone straight round the mansion and in at the dining-room
window which I had left open.
