objectives
- Strategic(planned, tactical , premeditated) and rational approach to the management Ivan
organization’s most valued assets (people working there), for the achievement of the firm’s
objectives

First consideration in a Managing Partner’s advice to a new Human Resource Officer in the Firm :

1. Clear understanding of the objectives if the Firm. This will help them officer analyze the kind of
work expected to be done and the employees needed to accomplish the same. The officer will
then be in a position to know the right quantity and quality of employees required to achieve
these objectives
This automatically means that the officer must understand the vision and mission of the firm.
The vision being, what the firm wants to accomplish or where it sees itself in the future. The
mission is what the firm does day to day to attain the vision.
