Engineering Science, Major of Interest: Machine Intelligence
• Recipient of $5000 Faculty of Engineering Entrance Scholarship

WORK EXPERIENCE
Eatibl | Software Developer Intern | Toronto, ON July 2018 – August 2018
● Developed reusable code for data analysis of various metrics using Python by reading live user data to
generate statistical results
● Created a Markov Chain User Action Prediction Library to analyze user action data to predict
future actions, and implemented a Monte Carlo simulation for different demographics to compare
usage patterns
● Assisted with development of app features on the Ionic/Cordova platform, helped create a Local Push
Notification system and feedback page, and aided in optimization for scalability and efficiency

PROJECTS
UofT Course Notifier | AngularJS, Express, MongoDB, NodeJS, Python August 2018
• Employed Ionic/Cordova Framework to create a website and phone app providing students with live
notifications of course enrolment statuses
• Improved scalability of platform through generating dual collection NoSQL database to decrease
redundancy in searches
• Used Python and Facebook API to develop bot which sends updates in 15-30 minute intervals

Steam Game Comparer | Python, Flask, MongoDB June 2018

• Created a website allowing Steam (gaming platform) users to compare mutual games with friends using
Flask, HTML and CSS
• Increased searching and sorting efficiency by 200% through the usage of a NoSQL database to store each
number in game ID as a child to previous number’s node
• Added functionality for review page of game, comparing 3+ users
• Refined webpage aesthetics

Differential Equation Solver | Python March 2018

• Implemented the Improved Euler Method to create a multiple order differential equation solver using the
matplotlib and numpy libraries
• Employed the SymPy package to develop a partial differential equation solver and refined algorithm for
increased accuracy and efficiency, achieving a 4% efficiency of the odeint function from SciPy for
Python
• Generated solutions and visual representations for 1-D, 2-D Navier-Stokes and 3-D wave equations using
the differential equation solver to promote learning and develop mathematical maturity
