Wedding ceremony in Indonesia

Wedding is a vital social events in every country. Wedding can unite two person
from different family so it can make a relationship between them. In this essay, I would
like to explain the wedding’s culture and tradition in my country, Indonesia.
Wedding is not a games Wedding is doing by a person who is already to build a
new life with one person chosen by his/her heart. Wedding can be another form of
commitment to giving a love and keeping their heart until die.
Usually, the person who has already to marry at the age around of 25-27 years
old for male and 22-25 years old for female. In that age, female entering fertile phase so
it’s more easy to get a child if the couple really wants a child in time is not so far from
their marriage.
If a person wants to get married, he/she have to go the marriage office to give
some letter as a requisite in marriage such as member card of the region, family card,
self photos, and many more. After that, the employees of that office processing that file.
Usually, it can take a time until three months. After checking by the employees, the
office doing some call to groom to takes the marriage book as an evidence that they’re
already to held a wedding.
There is so many type of people when he/she wants to held their marriage.
Marriage can held in every place, start from at the house of bride or groom, at an
auditorium, at a hotel, and many more. It’s all depend on a budget targeted to this
marriage. Besides that, cost system also depend on the policy that has been decided by
the family’s bride and groom. the event also made by a wedding organizer or by people
from one of the family who held the wedding. For some people, especially the villagers,
a wedding event can relate with the region tradition so it can be a more sachral
ceremony than other wedding event.
In the past, probably many couples were married because they were matched by
their parents not chosen by heart. But, the era was changed. many parents have
understand that the happiness to their child is depend on their child heart selection. As
long as the person can bring a happiness to their child, they were sure it’s a best person
sending by God to their children. Many variety on age to get married, start from 17
years old until 45 years old. That’s must be caused by some factors. Payment system
and many more things adjusted by two family decision.
