1. Formatting: Not more than 15 pages; 1.5 spacing; font 12 (Times New Roman format),
excluding [reference]

2. Submission dates:
 First Draft – 10th October 2018 (idea and select company. Need to be different between
the group)

 Second Draft and Preparation for presentation– 8th, 12th or 13th November 2018
(Choose any of the date above that your group members are available and meet me at
my office).

 Final Submission – 19th December 2018 (hardcopy, after the class)

3. Presentation dates: 28th Nov (2 groups), 2nd Dec (1 group

only), 5th Dec (2 groups), 9th Dec (1 group only), 12th Dec (2
groups), 16th Dec (1 group only).
4. Percentage of assessment:
 Group written assignment – 20%
 Group presentation – 10% for each student.

C. ASSIGNMENT TOPIC

“Cultural Challenges for Multinational Corporations”

 Select one (1) multinational corporation (MNC) and discuss their

issues and challenges in cultural context.

 Imagine that you yourself are working in that particular MNC

Company and you with your colleagues need to present this issues and
challenges during the board meeting.

 Create a slide presentation that describes the cultural challenges that a

multinational corporation typically faces and how these can be

overcome. This should contain information on the challenges and
issues that such a corporation would face both with its clients/ its own
employees / or their subsidiaries operated overseas.
