Participant Information Sheet

Project Title: ICT in the Classroom Action-Research Project

Project Summary: The project will investigate how Information Communication Technologies (ICT) is
used in the classroom to support collaborative learning. The investigation will look closely at
applications that support collaborative learning, how these applications continue to support literacy

Western Sydney University. The research is an action research project surrounding the use of ICT in
the classroom to support students’ literacy and numeracy skills in collaborative learning environments.
A sequence of learning experiences will be created, each including the use of various ICT
