En la tarea 1 (interacción escrita) deberás escribir un correo electrónico en respuesta a
una consulta (150-200 palabras).
En la tarea 2 (expresión escrita) deberás escribir un artículo de opinión sobre un tema
de debate (250-300 palabras).

∗ lo que importa no es tanto lo que dices (tu opinión, etc.) sino cómo lo dices.

You are a Brighton resident or a business owner. Write an email giving your view on the issue (150-200
words).
BRIGHTON OLD TOWN TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS
The aim of this consultation is to seek the opinion of the people who live or own a business in picturesque Brighton
Old Town. We have two different proposals for improving traffic management in the area.
1. RESTRICTIONS. During working hours, access will be restricted to residents and businesses, and controlled with
barriers, CCTV cameras and permits. Through-traffic will decrease because all other vehicles will be limited to
evenings and Sundays.
2. CHARGES. A Monday-Friday £10 congestion charge will guarantee access between 8am and 6pm, while reducing
the volume of through-traffic. Residents’ permits will cost £100/year, while businesses will pay £500/year for parking
permits.
