A. PURPOSES

For actions happening now

1. When we want to talk about an action that is happening now or at this time
(and is unfinished), we use the present continuous tense. We also use this
tense when we want to make clear that the action is temporary.

B. DEFINITION

Present continuous tense is a tense that serves to reveal the action that is being done in
the present (when talking) and something in the future. The present continuous
sentence is formed by the auxiliary verb "be" as am, is, are and is followed by the
present participle (form V 1 + ing).
