College Specific Scholarships: Many colleges have scholarships related to their own school. This list is not exhaustive and most schools will have
some type of scholarship/grant program. Contact the financial aid office at the college. The following is a list of schools who have scholarships

Be sure to start applications early! Do NOT wait until just before the deadline, as some applications require nominations, lengthy essays, or letters
of recommendation. Also, make sure and view each website well before the deadline for any possible changes to the scholarship programs.
Parents/guardians check your places of employment for scholarships for children of employees.
Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as early as October 1st. However, you may prefer to wait until after January 1st and
after tax returns are completed. This is a free application!!! Do not pay for the application. Found at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Avoid scholarship scams. Do not give out your social security number unless you have been selected to receive the scholarship. Do not pay any
