 ABC Bracelets
Encourage your child's knowledge of
the alphabet with these colorful ABC
bracelets!
We've provided over 50 bracelets in
this PDF, along with ideas for creative
educational play.

Prepare the Materials

1. Print a set of ABC bracelets
(color, pages 3-7; b&w, pages 8-12).
2. Cut out the strips to create 26 bracelets.
3. If using the black-and-white version, encourage your child to color the letters
and illustrations on each bracelet.
4. Laminate each strip for added durability, if desired.

Create the Bracelets

• Transform each strip into a bracelet by fastening the ends together with
double-sided tape, transparent adhesive tape, or Velcro dots.
• Wear and enjoy!

Explore the Alphabet

• Choose a “letter of the day” and have your child wear the bracelet that
represents that letter. Select a new letter each day.
• Use multiple bracelets to spell your child’s name with the letters.
• Choose a bracelet and show your child the letter. Ask him to say the sound
the letter makes. Then name each item together, emphasizing the initial
sound.
• Ask your child to locate the underlined letter at the beginning of each
illustrated word.
