Offal, also referred to as variety meats, is the name for internal organs and entrails of a
butchered animal. The word does not refer to a particular list of edible organs, which varies
by culture and region, but includes most internal organs excluding muscle and bone. Some
cultures shy away from offal as food, while others use it as everyday food or in delicacies.
Some offal dishes are considered gourmet food in international cuisine. This includes foie
gras, pâté, and sweetbreads. Other offal dishes remain part of traditional regional cuisine
and may be consumed especially in connection with holidays such as the Scottish tradition
of eating haggis on Robbie Burns Day. Intestines are traditionally used as casings for
sausages.
Depending on the context, offal may also refer to those parts of an animal carcass discarded
after butchering or skinning. Offal not used directly for human or animal food is often
processed in a rendering plant, producing material that is used for fertilizer or fuel or, in
some cases, it may be added to commercially produced pet food..

Meat
Food
Meat is animal flesh that is eaten as food. Humans have
hunted and killed animals for meat since prehistoric times.
The advent of civilization allowed the domestication of
animals such as chickens, sheep, rabbits, pigs and cattle.
sources of meat
The most common sources of meat are domesticated
animal species such as cattle, pigs and poultry and to a
lesser extent buffaloes, sheep and goats. In some regions
other animal species such as camels, yaks, horses,
ostriches and game animals are also eaten as meat. To a
limited extent, meat is also derived from exotic animals
such as crocodiles, snakes and lizards.

Huling linya sa lupang hinirang, nais
papalitan ni sotto
Dahil may pagkanegatibo ang dating, nais ni Senate President Vicente Sotto
III na palitan ang huling linya sa pambansang awit na "Lupang Hinirang."
“A number of years already, some people and mostly composers and writers I
have been rubbing elbows with have told me that the last two lines of the
Philippine national anthem sounds like a defeatist attitude,” sabi ni Sotto.
Patuloy niya, “Patay na agad e. I have thought of a line that could replace
this: ‘Aming ligaya na pag may nang-aapi, ang ipaglaban kalayaan mo.’”
Reaksyon;
