• Show three different stages of life through magazine images

Teacher’s Prior Preparation/Organisation:

3. Allow students to choose a photo from the mystery box and add it to

4. After all photographs have been revealed and discussed, have a
student put the images in order of the stages of life

2:20 PM Lesson Steps (Lesson content, structure, strategies & Key Questions):
1. Provide each student with a magazine and allow them to cute out three Magazine
images. These images must be from the following stages of life:
• baby Scissors
• child
• teenager Glue
• adult
• senior/elderly person Timeline including the
2. Students are then to paste these images onto a class timeline to show headings: baby, child,
the different stages of life teenager, adult, senior/elderly
• Before pasting their images, students must show the teacher
their images and identify which stage of life they belong to

Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)


2:35 PM 1. Allow students to sit in a circle with the timeline in the middle
2. Review the images on the timeline and ensure that they are in the right Timeline
order or stage of life
