Reflection 2: Considering the Changing World, what is it that we as educators want for our

students? (Pick a recorder and please capture your “AH HA’s”)

● Group 1- We want children to come in motivated to learn; comfortable with collaboration

working as a team; problem solvers; creative thinkers; compassionate and respectful of
others; tolerant and open-minded;

● Group 2-We would like our students to feel safe, successful, to be happy and love
coming to school, to be excited about what they are about to learn, and to feel a sense
of community. We want them to build relationships and know how to be in a relationship
with others, to learn to measure their success through other measures then
scores/grades. I want better for them all….

● Group 3-We would like trusting relationships so that the students are able to function
independently. We would like them to feel safe in their environment. Our goal is for all
our students to become successful members of society.

● Group 4- We would like our students to feel physically and emotionally safe, to foster
their curiosity and develop a love for learning, to remain curious and lifelong learners,
and to feel loved for who they are.

Reflection 3: Who are stakeholders? Considering their school experience, when students
graduate from Fraser Public Schools, what is your hope for them?

● Group 1- The stakeholders are students, family, employers, community. We want them
to be positive contributing members in society. Our hope is that Fraser Public Schools
has given each student the tools and skill set to allow each student to choose their path
of passion. THANOS

● Group 2- Stakeholders are any community member who has some interaction with
students or are invested in the community at large. That could include teachers,
administrators, parents, extended family, potential employers, community members
(neighbors, etc). !

● To be happy, caring, productive members of society. To have a passion for what they
are interested in and to continue to find joy in exploring experiences in life.

● Group 3- The stakeholders are the board of education members, administrators,

teachers, parents and students. In order for students to be successful, each of these
groups must do their job. Our hope for our students is to follow their passion and learn
the path that can take them there.
● Group 4- Stakeholders in education consists of: Learners, Learning facilitators, school
leaders, parents, community members, local and global business owners, and policy
makers. (All humans). We hope that they will grow to become productive members of
society who contribute to the betterment of their community as a whole.
