ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE
Director of the Writing Program, Oxford College of Emory University, 2017-present.
Administer a writing program comprised of a first-year writing requirement (~250 students), multilingual first-year
writing (~48 students), a writing across the curriculum writing intensive program (1480 seats in 70 sections),
and a writing center (300 student writers and ~25 undergraduate writing consultants). Lead an administrative
team that includes a Director of Multilingual Writing & Placement and a Writing Center Director. Provide
leadership and faculty development for first-year writing faculty (7) and writing intensive faculty (30), as well as
faculty who want to integrate writing into their other courses. Chair the campus Writing Support Committee.
Provide leadership on activities related to writing placement, program/curricular development, faculty
development, assessment, and outreach.

Provided administrative assistance in a WAC/CxC program run in collaboration with the Departments of English and
Communication. The program assisted faculty across campus in incorporating writing and speaking into their
courses and programs. As part of this mission, CWSP offers regular professional development workshops,
departmental and individual consultations, a faculty seminar, and an assignment litmus test.

Provided administrative assistance in a program that serves approximately 4,000 students each year in
approximately 200 sections of first-year writing taught by 50+ instructors. Mentored incoming doctoral GTAs.
Co-led a faculty learning community for lecturers developing online courses. Coordinated with DELTA on
development of new directed self-placement process. Helped develop new one-credit WID course for transfer
students. Assisted in revision of English 100 title, description, and learning objectives and developed sample
syllabus. Helped launch a new program assessment. Consulted with faculty and TAs in the use of instructional
technologies. Assisted in program orientations to hybrid, online, and flexible learning environments. Assisted in
coordination of proposal reviews, development of the program, and implementation of an app for the Council of
Writing Program Administrators conference. Served as a member of the FYWP Council. Helped coordinate
professional development workshops in digital literacies and instructional technologies.
