The yarn amounts are based on average requirements when specified tension and yarn is used.
You will also need 1 Pair of 3¼mm (UK10 – USA3) Knitting Needles, 1 Pair of 2¾mm (UK12 – USA2) Knitting Needles and 2
Stitch Holders.

TENSION
28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch on 3¼mm needles or the size required to give correct tension. Check your
tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO WORK TO THE STATED TENSION TO ENSURE SUCCESS.

INTARSIA TECHNIQUE
When working with different balls of yarn the colour to be used should be twisted round the colour just used to link the colours
together and avoid holes.

Note: This pattern includes instructions to knit any Instarsia chart on the front. If you do not wish to include a
chart, continue sweater instructions using main shade (M) only.
