Corrupted USB Not Showing In Computer - FIX

How To Fix USB Not Rrecognized. USB Flash Memory Drive Not Opening? USB Device Not
Recognized? USB Not Working? Easily Fix a USB drive. When the USB memory wont open, there
are 2 usual easy ways to repair USB to get it working again.

Sometimes one of my usb is not working, and this is how I fix it.

I am assuming you've already tried turning the computer off and on again...

▲ Option 1: Reformat usb

▲ Option 2: Reinstall usb

Please be careful with reinstalling usb in the device manager (option 2).

I hope this helps you fix your broken usb drive and get it working again.

►ADDITIONAL FIXES FOR USB NOT RECOGNIZED◄

1) You can use Device Manager to check the status of a plugged in but not recognised USB drive
by checking if the "Universal Serial Bus Controller" shows up as working correctly or has a yellow
exclamation mark on it when the device is connected.

2) In device manager down the bottom you will see "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" click on the
plus sign beside it which will expand that tree. You will see "USB ROOT HUB", right-click on those
1 by 1 (keep all your usb devices plugged in) and click on "uninstall". When you have uninstalled
them all shut down your computer completely (DO NOT UNPLUG ANY USB DEVICE) then reboot
your computer..........windows should do the rest and reinstall them for you properly.

3) If your computer is using Windows, you can try and use Microsoft's fix it. They offer 2, one for
usb specific issues and one for general hardware.

I had a problem with my motherboard. In the BIOS's boot options the drives showed 'Disabled'
instead of my USB stick. Moving the selector down using the down-arrow key and then pressing
“RETURN” when it reached 'Disabled' revealed a list of options that included that 'Disabled' word
along with another entry for the drive itself. So I was able to select the drive and the PC was then
able to use it or boot to it.

windows option. If it's not displaying in mac (disk utility) or you don't have mac. Just contact
your usb company.

Zeb Helping Point okay when you click on format it don't format the drive but pls mention that
command. I can provide you the link of a software which can fix it but pls reply us and tell the
command whatever you are seeing on your screen after clicking on format pls reply and tell for
format your drive can be corrupted and format can make it work fine thanks

Fist download the software from here - this link http://download.easeus.com/trial/epm_trial.exe

- Guide -

Download the software and install (http://download.easeus.com/trial/epm_trial.exe) then -

Step 1. Insert the SD card, USB, hard drive or some other device you want to format, launch
EaseUS partition tool, right-click the device and choose "Format partition".

Step 2. A mini window pops out, on which you can edit the partition label and choose a file
system.

Step 3. Click "Apply" to confirm to format the SD card, USB flash drive, hard drive, SSD or other
storage devices.

Done

that if you have a mac then its good to use mac os to formatting it because mac is a very
comfortable device which is used for these typical works and if you have one then you should
format your sd card with that only use format exfat which can be used in both windows and mac
os. And if you don't have one (mac) then i will search more and then tell you. You are my viewer i

First thanks for reply and your sweet help.........I get success in just one step..before my sd card
drive was not showing now I went to folder option and Ticked the option "" Show hidden
Files""..due to it my drive is showing but now it is saying that ""INSERT DISC""" and in disk

partition in your usb and thats why it is not showing in you pc you should go to your usb stick
provider company and ask them for the issue some issues cannot be solved easily thanks

swapnil singh Then it's not working. If there is any problem in that usb (currupt) windows should
detect it in disk management. If not, then the last thing you can do is contacting the usb
company or plugging it in a mac. If it's showing in mac then there is one more way to make it
working.

If working in mac - go to disk utility, search for usb name, format it on exfat or windows option.
That's it.

The last thing - if mac is also not showing in disk utility then contact usb company. Thanks
