INDEPENDENT AUDITOR’S REPORT


To
The Proprietor
AVINASH HASTAKALA UDHYOG
DHARAN, SUNSARI

We have audited the accompanying financial statements of AVINASH HASTAKALA UDHYOG which comprise the Balance
Sheet as at Ashadh end, 2073 and the Income Statement, Statement of changes in Equity and Cash Flow Statement
for the year ended, and a summary of significant accounting policies and other explanatory notes.

Management’s Responsibility for the Financial Statements


Management is responsible for the preparation and fair presentation of these financial statements in
accordance with Nepal Accounting Standards and relevant practices. This responsibility includes: designing,
implementing and maintaining internal control relevant to the preparation and fair presentation of financial statements
that are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error; selecting and applying appropriate accounting
policies; and making accounting estimates that are reasonable in the circumstances.

Auditor’s Responsibility
Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements b a s e d o n our audit. We conducted our
audit in accordance with Nepal Standards on Auditing. Those standards require that we comply with ethical
requirements and plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance whether the financial statements are
free from material misstatement.
An audit involves performing procedures to obtain audit evidence about the amounts and disclosures in the
financial statements. It includes examining, on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the
financial statements. The procedures selected depend on the auditor’s judgment, including the assessment of the risks
of material misstatement of the financial statements. An audit also includes evaluating the appropriateness of
accounting policies used and the reasonableness of accounting estimates made by management, as well as
evaluating the overall presentation of the financial statements.
We believe that the audit evidence we have obtained is sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for our audit
opinion.

Opinion
Based on our audit opinion, we report that:
i) We have obtained all the information, explanations and response, which were considered necessary for the
purpose of our audit.
ii) Given that the fair presentation financial reporting framework in financial statements should
comprise:
a. Balance Sheet;
b. Income Statement;
c. Cash Flow Statement; and
d. A summary of significant accounting policies and other explanatory notes.
The financial statements give a true and fair view of the financial position of AVINASH HASTAKALA UDHYOG as of
Ashadh end, 2073, and of its financial performance and its cash flows for the year then ended in accordance with
Nepal Accounting Standards as per the information given by the client.
iii) The firm/ company has maintained the accounts as per Nepal Accounting Standard- 7 that prescribes accrual
basis of accounting.
iv) The firm has accounted depreciation expense in line with provisions of Income Tax Act, 2058, which is not in
line with Nepal Accounting Standard.
v) The Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account/ Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement and attached Notes to
the accounts dealt with by this report are prepared in conformity with formats and procedures prescribed by
NAS.
