I Mr. RASHID OPONDO OTIENO of Kisumu storage and breakdown servicers P.O. BOX 3404
–KISUMU (being the hirer) has agreed to hire the above mentioned items from Mr JACK
OLUOCH AND LILIAN KAVAYA of LOCH timber enterprises P.O BOX 1594 -40100-
KISUMU (being the hiree) at the rate of _________________________per day for a period of
30 days renewable starting from ________________to___________________________

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Half of the total amount should be paid at the date_________________and the balance to
be paid at the______________________________________
2. The hirer should bear the salary and any other necessary cost of driver of the lorry.
3. The hirer should bear the fuel of the lorry.
4. The hirer should repair the lorry on time within one day while the lorry has problem and
the hiree should bear the cost for repairing. In case of repair, if it will not take more than
one day, the hirer will pay the day.
5. The lorry must stay at hirer’s site
6. Without prejudice to the premise of the lorry, the hiree can’t interfere with the hire’s
normal use of the lorry.
7. The hiree should provide insurance and tracking device for the lorry.
8. If the vehicle is vandalized while in the yard of the hirer, the hirer should take charge of
it.
9. If hirees want to use the vehicle during the period of contract, the hiree should inform the
hirer and arrange another vehicle for hirer to use.
