Statement of Support
I, Johnny V. Buhayan, the Punong Barangay of this barangay is hereby highly recommended
and give my full support for the nomination of Mr. John Argiel L. Victor, a Teacher 3 in Colonia
Divina Integrated School, in The Many Faces of The Teacher (2018). My statement of support
was based on the following qualifications and characteristics of my nominee:

1. What leadership qualities has the nominee exhibited in the school/community? Describe
the impact that the nominee has had in your school/community.

Since he was a student in the school of our community he already has the quality of a
good and excellent leader. As far as I know, he was a Student Leader, a Pag-asa Youth
Association of the Philippines – Barangay Chapter Secretary and Acting President, and
he also run and won as Sangguniang Kabataan member.

As a teacher now, we as his partner in the different activities, he has the following qualities:
a. Dedication. He has the passion in his work not only in teaching but also in helping the
community.
b. Resourcefulness. Our barangay doesn’t have enough fund to sustain the different
activities of the barangay and of the school, but for him, he was able to look and
address the problem that we have in mind. He was able to look for fund and sponsors
from the city and in the province.
c. Open minded. He is open for any suggestions from us and from the community, like,
what project or what program do we need.

Due to these qualities he was able to create and implement several projects in the school
and in the community with the help of his SSG officers who were motivated because of
his passion in serving the community. Some of his activities implemented in our Barangay
are, the 1000 Marang Campaign: A Marang Seedlings Campaign and Tree Planting, and
the Kutsara Para sa Bata: An SSG Feeding Program.

2. Compared to the other teachers who also exhibit the teacher quality of being hardworking,
creative and resourceful, what makes your nominee stand out as a role model for future
teachers?

He stands out as a role model for the future teachers because he already proven his
dedication to his work and service. He can also lead his team and the community due to
his good qualities and image. Aside from that, all of his activities have a great impact not
only to the community but also to his team specially his students. Lastly, the best quality
