gearbox.

shaft is coupled to
a single input
shaft.

 There are two Bull gears in
the gearbox
 One input Bull gear
 One output Bull gear
INPUT BULL GEAR
 The input Bull gear
transmits the torque from
the motors to the output
Bull gear.
 The output Bull gear
transmits that torque to the
DRIVE HUB
quill via the drive hub.
 The gear ratio is 18.61 to 1

GEARBOX LUBRICATION

 The ECI gearbox is

NOT flooded with oil.
 It utilizes spray
nozzles to coat the
gears during rotation.
 Overfilling the
gearbox reduces the
effectiveness of the
system.
 The recommended oil
is 75W-90 synthetic.

OIL SUMP MAG FILTER
 Inside the reservoir under
the gearbox is a magnetic
filter assembly
 The filter assembly can be
removed, disassembled,
cleaned, and re-installed for
further use.
 Special attention must be
MAGNETS taken to ensure there are
no metal filings in the filter.
 If metal is present, a more
in depth inspection of the
gearbox must take place to
rule out gear tooth or
bearing damage.
