This article is based on a study that suggested that cell phone reliance
was a cause for an adolescents behavioural problems. The result of this
study came the conclusion that in fact there were negative effects on the
an adolescents self-control. There are many growing concerns about how
being reliant of cell phones can have a very harmful effect although it isn’t
considered to be harmful yet certainly in the future it can develop into a
long-term effect on an adolescents self-control.

used to determine the types of cell-phone activities that can lead to
an addiction. The selected group were females and males that were
college students and they were given a questionnaire and studies found
that social media contributed greatly in cell-phone addiction. It also talked
about throughout history we have always been interested in technology
and its advances through time but with that being said the numbers of
people becoming dependant of their phones have increased greatly since
2011. Before using cellphones was a habit but it has quickly converted
to an addiction over the years.

In this article there was a study that brought up many points about cell
phone addiction and its role with underlying negative effects in adolescent
groups in Asia. Self-esteem has worked as a mediator and moderator
In relationships between students and their cell-phones. Having low self
esteem can cause someone to be become addicted to their phones and
the amount of internet usage highly increases.
