• Service Test - One third of burst rating of hose.

• Proof or Acceptance Test - Two thirds of burst rating of hose.

• Burst Test Example - Hose that has a service test of 250 psi, proof or acceptance of 500
psi and burst of 750 psi. This allows a 3 times safety factor.
