Odyssey of the Mind Interest Meeting

When: Monday, October 1 (2:45-3:15p)

Where: Creekside Media Center
Who: The meeting will be geared to parents of K-5 students, but children are
welcome to join, too.

What is OM? By tapping into creativity, and through encouraging imaginative

paths to problem-solving, students learn skills that will provide them with the
ability to solve problems -- great and small -- for a lifetime. The Odyssey of
the Mind program is an extra-curricular program that takes place outside of
school hours. It teaches students how to think divergently by providing open-
ended problems that appeal to a wide range of interests. Students learn how
to identify challenges and to think creatively to solve those
