PURPOSE
Engineering manager is in charge of the technical team and is responsible for ensuring that all machines are serviced and
maintained to the highest standards
Responsibilities
Management of technicians
Understand technical requirements of all vending machines , and be able to maintain and repair all aspects of
machines (3 different types)
Oversee team of technicians who will be required to repair and maintain machines in house or during field visits
Audit work of technicians
Conduct checks of machines in field
Train & develop skills of technicians to the level where they can deliver on their target objectives
Support in recruitment of additional technicians
Perform quality assurance of work completed by technicians
Internal coordination
Build weekly, monthly and quarterly technical repair and maintenance schedule
Coordinate with delivery and sales team to understand requirements for preparation and installation of new machines
o All new machines should be tested prior to delivery and then properly packaged for delivery
Coordinate with sales and customer teams to process repair requests.
o Repair or replacement of machine should be conducted within 24hr of request being received
For in-field repairs coordinate with delivery team to take technician to site. For workshop repairs coordin ate with
delivery team to get machine at the client site replaced with a functioning unit
LIMITS OF AUTHORITY
Authorized to visit client sites to conduct quality assurance checks and oversee work
Authorized to schedule service and repair work for installed machines

Relevant Training Machine repair (equivalent skills to AC, fridge, heater repairs + basic computer programming)
Required Skills People management, technical skills and ability to provide training
