Intervention & Enrichment
Our job is to best meet the needs of all learners in our classroom. We try our hardest
to support and challenge all students throughout the year. These definitions may help
you as we move forward in first grade!

Intervention: If we see that your child needs extra support for their basic reading,
writing or math skills, we will give them extra individual or small group time to help
close the gap.

Enrichment: If we see that your child has achieved all first grade skills, we will offer
them optional opportunities for them extend their learning. This could be presented in
many forms such as an integrated enrichment project, independent research,
collaborative group projects, etc.
Parent & Teacher Communication
