Sterilization of a process to eliminate, kill or destroy all forms of living
myroorganisms, whether pathogenic or not, either in vegetative or spore form of an object or material. Washing and sterilizing is carried out with the aim that microorganisms in the preparation equipment and packaging can be sterile and not contaminated with other microorganisms from outside. There are three types of sterilized equipment, including glassware with steam sterilization method, metal tools with dry heat sterilization method and rubber tools with aseptic sterilization method. Sterility tests were carried out in a study to determine the growth of bacteria before and after the sterilization process. Based on the results of research, bacterial growth cannot be detected.
