chosen topic related to your major that may be used in instruction and giving of

Title of the Activity: My Instructional Software

This act ivity aims t o bring out the creat ivity among t he st udent s in making
inst ruct ional soft ware t hat may cont ribut e t o st udent s’ learning and
development of skills.

Considering the chosen topic in the explore activity, create your own
instructional software, May it be Drill-and-Practice, Tutorial, Instructional Game,
Simulation, or Problem Solving Software. Present your instructional software to the
class. Write a brief description of your developed software below, and share its
benefits and limitations.

This is an instructional game inspired by the concept of who wants to be a


millionaire. In this game, similar mechanics from its inspiration will be used.
However, there are some minor changes that will be considered. The game will
focus on a kind of summative test that will be addressed to the interest of the
students. Through this, they will be able to meet the learning outcomes at the same
time they will find it more easy and attractive to deal with the process of the
game.

There will be three categories that can be used by the teacher in making
the game. It depends on his choice on what to be used. But keep in mind that the
questions to be appeared on the game shall be discussed in the lesson and shall
be on the limitations of the students. There will be a time limit to answer each
question. This is to assure that the students are doing their best to respond to the
questions in the game.

Don’t worry about the scoring system, same system in the inspirational game
will be used but by this time, it will be converted into points. Thus, the student who
will get the highest point will be the automatic winner. It might sounds basic but the
quality of learning among students will be addressed effectively through this
game.

It is indeed interactive and responsive in style. If the teacher wishes to make


it in either individual or group game, he can do so. Just to remember all the times
that there is no need to feel hassle in making the questions. It will take a process
and such process shall be done from time to time right after the discussion of a
lesson. Therefore, it will be a continuous one. Thus, the end product of this game
will be upgraded from time to time of using and manipulating it.
