1st Year

Paving Hard in reaching for the top: First Year, the Freshmen. What a breathtaking event in our
own lives, the first step of our journey towards friendship, happiness and sadness. That will
change the course of our batch forever. We had known to be “DESTROYERS” but eventually the
title of becoming a “DESTROYER” would evolve into a mature one. Freshmen witness the
addition of five(5) women that came from the different schools all over the Division of Lapu
Lapu City, yet they came to our school to experience the great friendship we would make in the
next three(3) years. They are namely: Mae Prado, Ericka Christel Duhig, Quini Roma, Samantha
Curib and Chelo Marie Mendoza, We must not also forget Ms. Shirly Enano, the only woman
who survived the turn-out from the Grade 6 to Freshmen. On the men, one(1) returnee came
back who was Aries Buena, and two(2) boys is being added to our batch like Leo Rico G Lasaga
and Gerson Dela Cruz Ludivese. That year became a great feat from yours truly because I
showed my prowess in terms of nutrition which was the Nutri-Quiz and won the Second Place
that Time, Thanks to my Coach Mrs. Maria Dolores Rabago and to our adviser, Tchr. La Armmie
Merufe Simeon who give also a chance for all my classmates to truly experience the first step as
a High School student. In this point of time, I reminiscing the birthday of Teacher La Armmie
and the Valentine’s Celebration. We can’t forget the first achievement of all of us, We became a
THIRD PLACE in INTRAMS CHEERDANCE competition. At that time, Our minds was so narrow to
stand emotions but we evolved to a person, ready to take on the future. It was a great start
even though there will be a steppe road ahead of us, to continue for the four(4) years of
challenges that may come to our way would be worthless but it would give us a lesson. This is
the Freshmen, FRESH TILL THE END.

2nd Year
Swimming in the Deep Blue Sea, Walking in a steppe terrain and hiking in the highest
mountain; SECOND YEAR, The Sophomores. The It was the school year that our bonds became
stronger, the loads in our Brain cannot take on what is needed to take on, but we strive so that
we could store much information for the next years to come, But before we proceed to that
next years, We also look back the loss of our three(3) classmates, two(2) women and one(1)
man, namely Mae Prado and Quini Roma, and for the boys, Ulyses Jay Bartolome who had
suddenly faded like a dust in the wind but a butterfly suddenly added to the flock whom was
Leslie Mangubat , who became the FESTIVAL QUEEN in the Buwan ng Wika Competition, It was
a great stake for each one of us, especially to our lovely adviser, Tchr. Cristina Montero who
extended her patience to the extent that she could reach our maturing attitudes that may
hinder our progress, But other from hindering our progress, We still strive and won as a
CHAMPION in the COOKFEST Competition during the NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION with
our main dish, Menudo. We also won as Third Place in the Intrams Cheerdance Competition
and from yours truly, I won as Third Place in Pinoy Henyo along with Diether Vega, The first
honor of the Third Year that Time. I thank Teacher Maria Dolores R. Rabago for the unwavering
training in terms of Pinoy Henyo, Nutrition Style she had imparted to me. I won from another
competition which is the DSPC- Editorial Writing , I became as a 7th Place and in the Cheer
dance competition, I had mention a while ago shows that we are not only excelling in the four
corners of our room but also for the physical prowess we had. In every step we take, In every
move we made, There are bonds of ties along with it. It was a great Year full of FUN excitement
and astonishment that serves us a treasure in our High School. For Everyone, I salute a Job well
done that we achieved and surpass this new phase of our lives. KUDOS!

3rd Yr
FIGHT Will our LAST BREATH! THIRD YEAR, The Juniors. The School Year in which we almost
imagined and grasped that this was the second to the last School Year we would take before
leaving our Alma Mater the EMD CARMELITE SCHOOL FOUNDATION INCORPORATED.

We never expected that a single fragment of the 2nd Year batch would lose its strength to carry
on the ups and downs of this batch and that is Mark Genesis who suddenly transfers to another
school. On the other hand, we thought our batch would not increase its number of fun but we
are shocked that Ms. Siegrid Ngujo and Mr. Nico Bernal would be added to our roller coaster
ride towards victory. In the middle of the School year another person is added to our class and
that is Mr. Alven Linao who helps us to win the INTRAMS Cheerdance Competition along with
Mr. George Igot . STRIKING HARD for OUR VICTORIES and AIMING for the TOP, Fight till our Last
Breath, That was our motto that time, and because of that we Became as CHAMPIONS in
INTRAMS Cheerdance Competition. It is like a roller coaster ride, that we never thought that we
are in the climax and we enjoyed every moment we had, One Part of our Batch Excelled in
Poster Making Contest which was Leo Rico Lasaga who became as 3rd Place in the Said Contest
during the NUTRITION Month Celebration. Excelling in Sports especially Mr. Christian Robrigado
that really excelled in almost all sports. A feat that is not easily been taken to him. Another
achievement from yours when I became 6th Placer along with Cynthia Maquilan in MTAP Oral
Competition, This Tag Team that is been pondered by years and the strength of our minds is
really unbreakable. We must not also Forget, Mr. Aries M Buena and Ms. Siegrid Ngujo who
became the Mr. and Ms Intrams 2012, Other from the two of them we must not also forget Ms.
Leslie Mangubat that lead the DBC Dancers and Gerson Ludivese, Aries Buena, Joshua
Reambonanza, Eleakim Santos and Chelo Marie Mendoza that Represents the New Pillars of
this Year’s DBC. We also excelled in other aspects especially Mr. Nico Valenzuela, that became
the Promenade King in this Year’s JS. It was not only me, who work towards victory everybody
is a part of a whole, the unity to strive strong along with our adviser, Teacher Cristina Montero.
Every Single Person that represents our batch, became a Great Help, Even though Sometimes
we change our path, we change our ideals yet we came up with a single Idea towards our own
victories.

4th Year

Farewell to you my Friend, I know we’ll see each other again. Fourth Year, The Seniors. The
Breath Taking Level we had, a year that will be the Diamond, Platinum and Pearl of our own
Journey. A journey not being seen by anyone, YES! It’s the Last Year, We are Ready to Face It,
but along this Path the person that has lost his courage to take on the path of Juniors has
suddenly come back to mingle with us again along the steppe road that we will take on. A
school year that started with a great achievement, a euphoria for me. I became the SSC
President, to Lead the students and Guide their Path. It’s a path of unexpected turn overs,
Turning Points and Changes that will lead to the inner change to all of us. We can’t deny that
this year is the final bullet of all bullets. I had regained my Title as a 3rd Placer in Nutri- Quiz
Competition, Thanks to my Coach and Our lovely Adviser, Teacher Maria Dolores Rabago
another achievement from yours truly that makes my heart astound with joy I became as a 3 rd
Placer in the Math Quiz Bee during the Math and Science Fair, Thanks for my Coach, Sir Figelito
Frejoles, Another achievement from your truly but now along with Ms. Shirly Enano, we
became as a 5th Placer in MTAP Oral Competition again to our coach, Sir Figelito Frejoles. Those
Persons, the Teachers taught me things New for my mind behind the achievements we will take
on, We also thank our Adviser that is always been there to reprimand and guide us in the falls
we made and because of that we successfully overcome the contests and grab consecutive
championships in Nutri-Dance, Festival Dance and Cheerdance. The Dances we had presented
this Year is being built not only for the grooves we made but the bonds and the experiences we
had for the past 3 years of our high school. It is not only mind and dances we work on, because
Mr. Eleakim Santos became the Mr. Carmelite 2013 along with Ms. Leslie Mangubat that
became the 2nd Runner Up of the Said Event, and also Siegrid Ngujo who is also a Runner Up.
Our Batch also contains the Michelangelo which is Leo Rico Lasaga that became 2 nd Place in
Poster Making Contest during the Nutrition Month Celebration. Yes, It is really unpleasant to
hear that we are bidding farewell but we will and forever love the school, Befor Concluding , we
must first see the Turning Events that had almost make ourselves worthy to become 4th Year
Students, That is the CUTS of Our JOURNEY, The COURAGE to Face again even though we are
being down by Problems, The UNITY that can be seen in our dance presentations we made, The
TEAMWORK we had in every Making of the Props and in every contest we had encountered,
and the STRENGTH to Overcome all the Odds and Defeats we had made.

This Last Year became so memorable to each one of us, Every single one of us had already
found their selves and say that I am ready to face what is waiting along the Path which is
college level but before we must overcome the remaining challenges that we must face, the
THESIS, SILENT DRILL and EXAMINATIONS so that we can say to ourselves. I am READY! It is a
four years of History for us, we are not just only built by the experiences we had surpass but
with the lessons we had taken in every loss we made, We must always be thankful to GOD, Our
Parents, Classmates and Teachers, Because without them, We are not standing here in front
and yell to the world. WE ARE THE SENIORS, Seniors, We are about to close the book of our
journey. How many Days left and we will be complete to the mission that is been given to us as
a SENIORS of the S.Y 2013-2014. Once again, GOOD EVENING!
