mediums used in telecommunications.

Step 1 – make the course recognition


El estudiante tendrá que seguir los próximos pasos para lograr los
objetivos de la actividad.

Paso 1: Analice las preguntas dadas de acuerdo con las aplicaciones


principales nombradas en las actividades para desarrollar el párrafo.

Paso 2: Responda las preguntas con recursos académicos.

Paso 3: identifique los parámetros enumerados en la pregunta final.

Paso 4: Desarrolle un trabajo escrito de acuerdo con las instrucciones


en los Productos para entregar por el estudiante.

En esta actividad vamos a considerar dos aplicaciones principales de


las ondas electromagnéticas y responder las preguntas dadas:

- Transmisión inalámbrica de datos.


- Aplicaciones medicas

Teniendo en cuenta las referencias académicas, responda las


siguientes preguntas.

1. Defina los siguientes conceptos:


- Onda electromagnética.
- Velocidad de propagación.
- Longitud de onda.
- Reflexión y refracción.
- Permitencia eléctrica y permeabilidad magnética.

2. Explicar la importancia de considerar la "profundidad de la piel"


(profundidad de penetración) en tratamientos médicos.

3. Haz un gráfico que explique al menos tres modos de "propagación


terrestre de ondas electromagnéticas", incluida una breve explicación
de ellos.
4. ¿Puede el tejido humano cambiar su conductividad debido a una
enfermedad? Explique.
5. Utilizando el "espectro electromagnético", seleccione una frecuencia
utilizada en el tratamiento médico y explique cómo se usa y seleccione
una frecuencia utilizada en la transmisión inalámbrica y explique su
aplicación.

En esta actividad, se evaluará la capacidad de comprender los


conceptos relacionados con la transmisión de ondas
electromagnéticas. No tienes que hacer ningún cálculo matemático.
