4.4 PHASE 1: DEVELOPING THE POA&M AND THE


MASTER PLAN

Following the process of creating the kick-off meeting agenda and


preparing the presentation, which includes an outline of the Lean Main-
tenance Journey, a more detailed Plan of Action and Milestones
(POA&M) that schedules the processes and milestones of the journey’s
roadmap should be created. The POA&M should indicate generally
expected results and not specific events such as Kaizen Blitz events. It
