Week 2 Lesson 3 Reflection

WEEK 2 LESSON 3 REFLECTION

DATE: 9 AUGUST 2018

On 9th August 2018, the process of teaching and learning (T&L) can be carried out
well. All plans planned in the daily lesson plan (RPH) can be implemented properly.

The first strength identified in my lesson today is that it can raise the interest of students
to learn. I showed them the “Animal Song” and the students were attracted to the video.They
also able to sing together as I gave them the lyrics of the song. I was happy to see their good
involvement and cooperation in singing the song. The second advantage is my clarity in giving
instruction and instruction.Clear and simple instructions make it easy for students to
understand my task and how they should be implemented.

The first weaknesses that can be observed in today’s lesson is the classroom
management. The students get so excited to sing and do the action until it become so hectic
and hard for me to control some of the students. The next weaknesses istime management.
Time management is important to ensure that the T&L process works well and smoothly. I
found out that the time planned in my RPH and the lesson implemented is not tally. This is
because there are interruptions and other things that lead to more time taken to do the
activities. However, the overall teaching time is not very affected and can be done well.
However, teachers need to ensure that students understand the content of learning rather

The opportunity for today’s lesson is that my students really love to do the language
arts activities, especially action song and colouring. So after this I will make sure that my
lesson will be fun learning, students centred and do more activities that need them to move
around and participate actively during the lesson.

The threat that I faced today is most of them get so excited and caused chaotic in the
classroom. They make noise and did not listen to my instructions when they hear the song. Commented [CV2]: Why did this happen and how did you

Another threat that I encounter is that the class did not has LCD projector, so I need to show
the video in my laptop only, so the students need to sit in front of the class to watch the video.
