1 Introduction
This document describes the LTE Network CLI commands available in the SGSN-
MME for LTE radio network access.

For each CLI command, this document provides information on the following:

 Functionality

 Syntax

 Operands and parameters

 Output

If applicable to the CLI command, the following information is also provided:

 User authorization requirements

 Examples

 Required activation activities

Depending on the types of commands included in the document, a general procedure for
how to check the consistency of a modified configuration, activate the configuration on the
node, and checkpoint the configuration is described.

The CLI commands are applicable only within the gsh command context. For more
information on how to access the gsh and how to operate theCLI, see Operation and
Maintenance Description.

1.1 Target Group

This document is intended for personnel planning, configuring and operating the SGSN-
MME.

2 Applying Configuration Changes

There are several methods for activation of configuration changes in the SGSN-MME. The
changes can be activated immediately, require a restart, or the changes are implemented in
a planned configuration area before being activated on the node. The planned configuration
area is used to avoid affecting the active configuration before a consistency check has been
performed.

The configuration changes initiated by the CLI commands in this document are implemented
in the planned configuration area. To apply them on the node, follow the steps below:

1. Check the consistency of the configurations, both pending and active, using
the check_config CLI command.

If the consistency check reports errors it is possible to either undo all pending
changes in the planned area, using theundo_config_pending CLI command, or
correct the indicated errors using applicable CLI commands.

It is not possible to activate a pending configuration containing errors. However,

if the consistency check reports warnings, it is possible to continue with the
activation even though the warnings are not handled.

2. Activate the pending configuration, using

the activate_config_pending CLI command.

When the activation is completed, that is, when the prompt has reappeared,
the SGSN-MME is running on the new configuration. However, the new
configuration data is not stored on disk until a checkpoint has been performed.

3. Checkpoint the activated configuration to store the configuration data in

the SGSN-MME, using the checkpoint CLI command.

The result of this command is an SC that is immediately made the active SC.

3 action_mme_delete_enodeb
This CLI command enables the operator to delete eNodeBs that have been disconnected
longer than a certain amount of hours (0-48). Use the show_mme_enodeb CLI command to
view the eNodeBs and their connection status.

This CLI command is valid for LTE radio network access.

3.1 User Authorization

To run this CLI command, a user role with action set mme_action_active is required. For
