INTRODUCTION
We all know that it is normal to have school works that should be done at home and it is also a
routine for the teachers to give out assignments and performance tasks to the students but sometimes the
teachers gives too much school works. The more assignment or performance tasks given to students that
later on results to stress, physical and mental problems and general lack of balance. The students all have
different range of capabilities in terms of academic performance, not all of the students can handle the tasks
appointed. The teachers should consider the possible outcomes, for the students to have a healthy lifestyle,
won’t face pressure during weekends, and for the brain to function well enough causing a better
performance inside the class.
PURPOSE :
Pinpoint and inform about the effects of too much school works to the performance and health
condition of the students.
To help the students to manage their time and tasks effectively.
To prevent students in experiencing insufficient sleep, and not eating on time.
We aim to improve their performance and well-being of the students.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
OBJECTIVE/GOAL :
METHODOLOGY
Academic institutions must address this issue through implementation of strategies that would help
facilitate students’ optimum learning. To realize this goal, key indicators that schools must monitor the
students’ academic performance.
1. Conduct a proposal on how to solve the negative effects of school workload
2. Have a conference between the concerned individuals and the authorized personnel
3. Formulate a survey discussing about the school works affecting their performance and health
4. Organize the collected information or answers
5. Finalize the data and settle the results based on the survey that was conducted
6. After finalizing the collected data, hand it over to the authorities (Principal, Vice principal, Level
Leaders, President of the Student Council, etc.)
BENEFIT:
With the help of this academic paper, the school personnel must consider the health of the students
in performing inside and outside of school. This will also serve as an eye-opener to the students who are
experiencing difficulty in time management. The authorities should implement the proposal given to them
about the no homework given every Friday to avoid stressful weekends. This proposal may contribute to
the increase in academic performance. The students may improve their physical and mental awareness. To
prevent anxiety, depression which may affect the student. Lastly, for the students to have more leisure time
with their family.
CONCLUSION:
The researchers conclude that this proposal may help the improvement of the students in their
academic performance. Brain capacity to process information and perform task correctly is largely affected
by the body’s physical state. Addressing physiological needs can greatly influence on how a person perceive
workload. For students working part-time, it is possible to take more academic load (not more than allowed
units per semester) provided that physical requirement of the job is not strenuous like seated repetitive work
with light parts or seated control work.
