5.Statistics & Quality Control:

Question Pattern:
Mainly follow last year FINAL QUESTION pattern
He gave some guidelines:
Mainly mathematical question…But some theory (Definition or explanation type)
For this theory follow these topics: Sampling, Sampling types, AQL, LTPD, TYPE I &
TYPE II error, pareto rule explanation
Hypothesis will be 1 set.
Capability index important.
Experiment/ Assignment 1 type 1 set.. study (skewness, kurtosis)
Bias theorem explanation like previous year
No need to study: ANOVA, 5S , P value(** only p value topic, not the whole slide)
** memorize short formulas.. Difficult formulas will be given.
** follow related “LIND” book exercise problem
6.Fluid Machinery:
Syllabus: Pump, impact of jet, turbine, dimensional analysis
One question: Difference between fan, compressor & blower.
Question Pattern: 3 set before mid (no repeat from mid question)
5 set after mid
Around 1.5 set from dimensional analysis
