Dear Nancy Zeller,

It is with great enthusiasm that I am applying for the Junior Creative Production Artist position at
FunGraphics. Having the innate natural ability to communicate emotions and messages through art is
something that gladly share through my works that have been received very well by the public in community
art fairs and venues across the state of Minnesota, as well as across the US where I selling my artwork online.
I believe this ability to communicate through art is something that is in line with the FunGraphics mission to
provide clients with original, unique, and creative works to communicate their message, and I am confident
that I would be a good fit for the position.

I have studied animation at the Art Institute of Minnesota, and I am currently a student at the Art Institute of
Pittsburgh studying graphic design working towards an Associate of Applied Science Degree. As a multi-
media visual artist, I have extensive knowledge using a variety of media including acrylics, gouache, charcoal,
graphite, colored pencils, to name a few. My knowledge in digital arts includes in-depth work in digital
painting and designing using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign. In addition, I am proficient in
Word and PowerPoint. I have used this knowledge in the creation of original works by hand, then recreating
them digitally in a variety of forms such as post cards, greeting cards, prints, posters and the like for resale.

Having a rare undiagnosed hearing impairment as a child resulted in my communication through speech to
be very delayed. The inability to communicate like everyone else, forced me to develop my own way of
communicating; through art. It has become my way of communicating not only words, but thoughts,
feelings and emotions all at once; something I have experienced many times over when seeing the
expression and flow of emotions from those purchasing my works. Becoming a member on the FunGraphics
team of artists will allow me the opportunity to share my ideas on a broader scale, sharing messages through
visual artistic communication, thereby enhancing the level of excitement and meaning of every prospective
clients’ message.
