Advantages

Front Load
As per grade total accrual will be credited on
Yearly enrolling the plan(eg: 30 days on 1-Jan-2018 to 31-Dec-2018)

Incremental

Based on Grade monthly the accrual will be credited to employees

Monthly (eg: 1-Jan-2018 to 31-Jan-2018, the accrual will be 2.5 days if Grade 1)

As per grade total accrual will be credited on

Yearly enrolling the plan(eg: 30 days on 1-Jan-2018 to 31-Dec-2018)
Disadvantages

Proration won't be possible

If employee joins on the mid year the same total accrual will be
credit as like exisitng employees

Proration will be possible, but if any grade change happens it will pick the latest
grade accrual and
credited,(eg: For May 2018, if employee promoted on May 15th,2018 then for
the month the accrual will
be choosen from new grade and system will not choose it as old grade accrual,
if it's on 1-Jun-2018 it will
consider as per the grade accrual
Grade Change happens the system will consider effective date as 31st on each month to prorate

Proration won't be possible

If employee joins on the mid year the same total accrual will be
credit as like exisitng employees
