He explained us about the factory that how they manufacture parts of machinery and
how they prepare the whole plant, they also explain us about the trunkey project
export.
First of all he introduced with the every section of factory that from the how may
stage the parts become completed and how they manufacture the parts.which type
of precaution they have to take during the finishing of parts.
How many branches in India of SSP PVT LTD ? In how many countries they export
the trunkey project? Where are his export house and what is the term of export?
That is FOR and FOB. The above all thing had explained by the Mr.S.K.Chaterjee.
Through the discussion with him we know that what is the turnover of the company,
which is approximately 100 corer.
So through this visit I learn that what should be environment of the company and
working condition of the factory? How deal with the employee.
Mr.S.K.Chatterjee is really excellent person and I learn the manager works is not
only to sit at the upper level but also come to the personally every employee if its
possible and take the response from them. It should only a documentation process.

COMPANY PROFILE
# INTRODUCTION:-
The company is pouring its best in research, production and quality control, to widely
expand its wings into vast Indian and overseas market. To keep pace with fast
changing technology in Chemical/Food Processing Industry, SSP is in continuous
process to create an aura of latest technology by developing latest models of energy
efficient and cost effective plants.
Our core competence lies in evaporation and drying technology. SSP has made its
presence increasingly felt over the last two decades and is accredited with the
supply of more than 350 evaporation and drying installations across the globe.
However, this technological competence has not emerged overnight, it has been
learned in a hard way, over a period of time involving mistakes and blind allays as
well as success.
The chair man Mr. R.P. Banarjee, received the life time achievement award for his
contribution to the industry from all India achiever podium, in New Delhi 25th
December 2009.
SSP offers milk processing plant for minimum milk handling capacity 5000 litres per
day and the maximum Milk handling capacity -500,000 litres per day. Wide range of
products likes ghee, butter, cream, toned milk, double toned milk, and skimmed milk
can also be manufactured.
Milk is first received in a dump tank from the road milk tankers. It is then chilled in a
chilling unit to 4ºC. This chilled milk is then pasteurized in a milk pasteurizer and
cream is separated from milk in by the cream separator to get skimmed milk. Milk is
standardized depending on the requirement of toned milk, double toned milk,
skimmed milk or full cream milk.
The separated cream is further processed to manufacture ghee and butter. The
pasteurized skimmed milk, toned milk or double toned milk is sent for packing in
pouches in the packing machine for various capacities like ½ kg, 1 kg pouches. The
plant will be in operation for 20 hours in a day.

extends the shelf life of milk apart from reducing the weight and volume. Drying
lowers the cost of transportation also.
The initial solid in the milk varies from 7.5% to 12% depending upon type of milk and
the final moisture in the powder ranges between 2.5% and 4%. Since drying is an
energy intensive process, the energy efficient evaporator and dryers are used for the
milk powder plant.
SSP offers Milk Powder Plant for capacity 10 kg/h to 60 Ton/day powder production.
Milk powder plant produces skimmed milk powder and whole milk powder.
During drying in spray dryer, the excess water present in free form between the
particles of the dry solids gets evaporated easily. Whereas last stage of evaporation
demands more energy as water contained in pores and capillaries of the solid
particles need to be evaporated. These last drops of water are removed from milk
solid in a Vibro Fluid Bed Dryer which requires less energy for removal of balance
moisture.
The combination of multiple effect evaporators, spray dryer with fines recirculation
system and use of a 'Vibro Fluid Bed Dryer', produces powder with extremely good
solubility called instant powder.
SSP also offers lecithination system integrated with the milk powder plant to
manufacture whole milk powder. The lecithin treatment for lecithination refers to the
coating of powders by a wetting agent consisting of lecithin dissolved in butter oil or
low-melting oil. The wetting agent is sprayed by directly on the powder under
vigorous fluidization in a vibrating fluid bed dryer. Excellent quality WMP is produced
with this system.
SSP ensures supply of most energy efficient plant which produces instant powder of
highest quality.

SSP offers malted milk plant for different capacities. SSP is experienced in the
manufacture of malted milk plant.
Malted milk food is the product obtained by mixing whole milk or partially skimmed
milk or milk powder with malt extract and cereal grain flour in such a manner as to
secure complete hydrolysis of the starchy material. It should not contain added
sugars, fat and added colours and preservatives. The manufacturing process
consists of the following stages :
• Blending of ingredients like malt extract, milk or milk powder, grain flour etc in
required proportion.
• Concentration of the slurry in scraped surface evaporator.
• Vacuum Drying of the concentrate.
• Pulverization of the dried product.
• Packing of malted food.
• Storage.

To manufacture sweetened condensed milk the pasteurized milk with added sugar is
taken to the evaporator and concentrated to desired level of solid concentration. The
product is then cooled in such a way that lactose forms very small crystals in the
supersaturated solution. After cooling & crystallization the sweetened condensed
milk is packed in 397 gm of pre-sterilized cans.

Danedar : It has a granular texture having 20 - 25% fat and 35-40% moisture. It is
mainly used forthe preparation of kalakand, granular burfi, etc.
Dhap : This grade of Khoa is typified by its fine grain structure. It contains about 20-
23% fat and 37-44% moisture.

Pindi : This form of Khoa has a lower moisture content (of about 19%). The other
ingredients are fat 37%, protein 18%, lactose 22% and ash 3.6%. All the above types
of khoa can be manufactured using this machine.
Soymilk and its derivatives are the cheapest source of protein than any of the animal
or plant protein. Soymilk produced by 'SC-200' machine is free of beany off-flavour
and can be turned into tofu, curd, hot and cold drinks, ice creams, fruit shakes etc.
Tofu (soy paneer) makes tasty dishes of the local taste and snacks like soy burger
patties, sandwiches, pakoras, etc., and is also used for Western Style main dishes
and desserts.
SSP can supply plant for other capacities from 1000 LPH to 6000 LPH soy milk
in collaboration with M/s. Prosoya Canada.
SSP also offers suitable multiple effect evaporation plant to concentrate the soya
milk and spray drying plant to convert soya milk concentrate into soya milk powder of
instant quality. Okara dryer is also available.
The Research & Development centre is complete with laboratory, Pilot plants,
Technical library, Data Bank and Documentation Centre.

# CONCLUSION
This visit was very fruitful for us because through this visit its become possible to
know that how the employee work in the high risky environment after that they
manage all the thing create a comfortable working environment.
This was totally related to technical field but it was also important for management
student because thet can know that how that employee work in the factory and how
we can take maximum output from them.
