In a strange way, Plato’s theory of “Form” resonates with Hawking’s model-
dependent reality. Science is always searching for a better and comprehensive version of a model to describe our reality (physical world). An ideal model might be unattainable, but at least there is hope. In a similar fashion, religious philosophy (not religion) is supposed to be our guide for our inward journey towards a better human “form”. Since spiritual/philosophical understanding is entirely individualistic (you cannot verify your realizations like Newton’s Law; no one can lay down a law), is self-centered egotism a “form” of humility? How can you say a person is fit to guide you (a guru) ? What if his realizations are not mine ? What if a dominant personality creates subversion? We always look for standardization. Is it utterly impossible in this case?
