institution under an Early Action or Early Decision (EA/ED) plan.

Teacher Evaluation form to teachers- US EA/ED applicants.
September 28 ♦ Last day to submit the final Activities Résumé via ManageBac.
October ♦ If you are planning to apply to universities in the US, by the end of
October you should:
● Retake SAT with Essay or SAT subject tests if necessary.
● Register for November 3(tbc) SAT Subject Test(s) if necessary.
● Prepare University of California applications (due Nov 30).
● Request recommendations from your teachers. (Important! a minimum
of three weeks notice is required for your teachers to write your
reference).
● File Early Action (EA) and Early Decision (ED) applications.
October 5 ♦ Latest date for Oxford applicants to register and book LNAT test slots. Sit
the LNAT before or on October 20 at the very latest.
October 5 ♦ Registration Deadline for November 3 SAT Subject Test(s) date.
October 6 ♦ Retake SAT with Essay or SAT Subject Test(s) if necessary.
October 8 ♦ Submit US Essay(s) to University Counsellor for review – US EA/ED
applicants.
October 27 ♦ Retake ACT with Writing if necessary.

October 31 ♦ Submit completed UCAS on-line application for processing.
♦ Last day to request or make any corrections to your transcript and
Activities Résumé.
♦ Notify the University Counsellors if you are planning to apply to a HK
institution under Early Decision (HKUST non-binding) and Advance
Consideration (CUHK).
♦ Take BMAT/Oxbridge written test at school.
December ♦ Inform the University Counsellors of any US Early Decision (ED) or Early
Action (EA) decisions that you receive.
December 1 ♦ Retake SAT with Essay or SAT Subject Test(s) if necessary.
December 3 ♦ Submit final university choices form ** via ManageBac
♦ Submit CUHK, HKUST & HKU personal statements for review.
December 3 - 10 ♦ Complete all CUHK, HKUST, McGill University and Ontario
University applications.
December 8 ♦ Retake ACT with Writing if necessary.
December 10 ♦ Submit McGill application.
♦ Submit CUHK, HKUST & HKU regular applications.
** It is the school policy to limit your choices to 10 institutions worldwide. UCAS counts
as one and this is also true for the University of California system.

Key dates for 2019:
January ♦ Complete the rest of the Canadian university applications (for e.g.
University of British Columbia, University of Western Ontario).
♦ Complete the remaining Hong Kong applications.
♦ Inform University Counsellors of your Oxbridge decision.
January 11 ♦ Complete the rest of Hong Kong university applications.
♦ Complete the rest of Canadian university applications.
January 25 ♦ Submit all online applications for Singaporean universities
April ♦ Students who are Australian or are holding permanent resident status in
Australia need to contact the Australian university directly for home
student application forms for the mid-year intake (mid-July 2018).
♦ US Decisions arrive.
♦ Thank your teachers for their recommendations.
♦ Make your final decision about which school to attend. Notify all
universities in writing of your decisions by May 1. Inform the
University Counselling Office of your decision.
April 26 ♦ Submit all completed Australian university applications.
June 6 ♦ Notify University Counsellors about which other universities you are
applying in order for us to prepare university packets.
