How many hours of training will I receive
per week ? How much is my stipend?
Your average training week will around 32-40 hours depending on the
property; however any additional hours will be compensated as
applicable. Contracts vary from property to property but generally
remuneration is minimum $10 to $13 per hour depending on your
qualifications, experience the Company and its location.

How Do I Apply?
Stage 1
To ensure that your application form + fee is processed efficiently
and quickly, please e-mail the following.
Documents to us as listed below:
1. Application form + Fees of $300
2. Detailed Resume with the photo and cover letter
(as attached)
3. Filled registration form
4. Terms & Conditions – signed & dated
5. Reference letters from previous employers (at least 3)
6. Professional degree or diploma certificates
7. Photo passport page
8. You will be required to take a free English assessment test
accessible on www.testpodium.com and send your result
to us. Please take English test Level 2
As soon as we receive your registration document and $550
Registration fees, we will forward your details to major hotels in the
USA for an interview.
Stage 2
As soon as you have been advised that your CV has been shortlisted,
we will arrange your telephonic interview/ skype interview.
Stage 3
Once your interview is successful, Vira International will send your Offer
Letter, training plan, and details of your Internship from the host
company. You will need to sign & return the following :
1. Offer Letter
2. Training Plan
Stage 4
You will be able to book an interview at your nearest US Embassy ONLY if
all documents and payments are received at this time. Interviews are
booked 5 weeks in advance of visa interviews and approval.
Can my spouse accompany me ?
Spouses and/or children under the age of 21 who wish to accompany
or join the principal visa holder in the United States for the duration
of his/her stay requires a J-2 visa.
Vira International will be happy to process J-2 Visa for your spouse.
Spouses and/or children who do not intend to reside in the United
States with the principal visa holder, but visit for vacations only, may
be eligible to apply for visitor (B-2) visas.
Can I extend my J-1 Visa?
The J-1 Visa is not extendable beyond the maximum program duration
of 12 months. Candidates may participate in a second 12 month J-1
Program after a gap of 24 months.
Can I be transferred to another property
while being in the US?
Transfer is possible only under exceptional circumstances and with
the explicit permission of your sponsor in the US. An additional fee
may be incurred to change the DS 2019 form (J-1 Visa)
What happens if my training is terminated
and transfer permission is not granted?
Required to depart from the USA in 30 days.
How long am I permitted to stay in the
U.S. after my program has ended?
You are permitted to stay in the US for an additional 30 days, for the
purpose of travel.

You need to pay applicable Visa fee directly to the USA Consulate at the
time of securing your J-1 Visa. THIS PAYMENT CAN BE INCLUDED IN THE
TOTAL PROGRAM FEES. Please refer to the expense breakdown on Page 2
Stage 5
We will send you the J-1 Visa documentation i.e. DS-2019, Medical
Coverage & SEVIS fee paid invoice, which will enable you to secure a J-1
Visa for USA from your nearest US Consulate.
All US consulates require that you physically travel and attend an
interview with the Visa officer to secure a J-1 Visa. This process might take
3 to 7 days to issue a Visa. Your Passport with the endorsed Visa will be
mailed back to you.
Important: Please do not Book your flight or resign from your current
employment until receiving your J-1 Visa.

Vira International Ltd and its associated offices are the agents
and not the employers. Please initial each of the below
statements:
Vira International Ltd represents hotels and resorts in the USA as well
as clients from around the world who recruit and take immigration

Depending on your contract terms and location it is not the
responsibility of your host company in the USA to assist you with
temporary or full term accommodation.
You must be physically and mentally fit to take part in this program.
Upon arrival in the US, you may undergo a medical examination and
drug test. If you do not pass these tests, you may be required to return
back to your point of origin at your own expense. There will be no
refunds given if you fail any of the tests.
Your host company has the right to terminate your training at any time
during the probationary period and has to give you a 30-day’s notice
after the probation period. Termination may be due to but is not
limited to the following:
a. Inefficiency / unsatisfactory performance
b. Misconduct
c. Other grounds that may cause loss or damage to company
property, name or reputation.
Addictive drugs in many forms are prohibited in several countries.
Possession and/or usage of those substances may result in prosecution
and imprisonment if found guilty.
Vira’s International Ltd liability is strictly limited to the refund of costs
paid as per trade practices act 1974 as intended.
Vira International Ltd is not liable for incidental, special or
consequential damages or losses, including, but not limited to loss of
profits, business, return flight from US, accommodation costs incurred
or documentation that may result from any advice given or services
rendered by Vira International employees or representatives With your
signature below you agree and accept that any refunds are at the
absolute discretion of Vira International Ltd.

If there is a delay at the US consulate, due to their Visa appointments,
Vira International Ltd is not responsible for this delay.
You have to apply for the visa in your home country.
The fees payable for the Program are due as follows:
* Non-refundable application fee of $ 300 is required to commence
your J1 Internship process
* Upon completion of Application process, Registration fees of $550 are
payable to initiate the J-1 placement process
* $4145 is payable upon receipt of your Offer Letter. Payment must reach
us within 5 business days. Delay may result in Offer Letter cancellation
* Fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Vira International will refund the registration fee of USD $550-00 ,
if there was NO interview arranged for you with the US employer
within 4 months from date of registration.
The registration fee will NOT BE REFUNDED, if any of the following
events occur:
If you cancel after a successful interview and after an offer has been
made by the host company, and/or accepted by yourself.
If your Visa has been refused, USD $950-00* of the fees paid, will not
be refunded as the legal costs and services of Vira International
and / or Sponsors.
In case your Visa is refused, you are obliged to return your original
DS-2019 form and refusal letter provided by the US Embassy as well
as a copy of passport page showing denial to Vira International. We
require receipt of the documents within 3 days to enable us to make
the necessary fee refund. Failure to do so may result in non-refund.
As soon as your documents have reached us, Vira International will
make arrangements to courier these documents to the Sponsor
Company and request them for refunds. Once Vira International
receives credit for the returned documents, your refund process will
start and may take 8 to 10 week.
Vira International Ltd. will not refund any money paid, if any one of
the following events occur:
If your visa is denied at the US consulate due to any criminal offences
or false info provided.
If you fail the drug test once you have arrived in the USA.
If you decide to return to your home country prior to finishing the
entire program for any given reason.
If your training is terminated by your employer due to misconduct.
If you have cancelled travel to the USA after the DS-2019 / J-1 Visa has
been issued.
I

Refunds amounts are calculated on prevailing exchange rates and are
subject to bank transfer charges.
