ABOUT TIN:-
Taxpayer Identification Number is a unique number that
is allotted by Commercial Tax Department of respective State. It is a eleven digit number that is used to identify the dealer’s registration status under Vat Scheme. TIN number is applied in both types of sale whether it is local sale or central sale. It works in the same way as PAN Card. PAN Card is used to assess under Income Tax Act. In the same way, TIN is used to identify the registered Dealers under VAT Act. TIN number registration is mandatory to all the Company or Firm or Traders who deal in sale and purchase of goods in India . Now-a- days, TIN number is used in both types of sale-local sale and central sale in India.
